Technology

Lightweight full leather upper provides supreme comfort. With interior bootie construction and EVA midsole, there’s also a visible GRID system to provide exceptional cushioning.

Heritage

In 1991 we released the GRID (Ground Reaction Inertia Device) technology. Launched in the GRID SD silhouette, it arrived shortly afterwards in the GRID 8000 & 9000.

Game changer

The year that the GRID technology broke cover, it used negative space to create sweet spot shock absorption.
GRID guides the foot through the gait cycle for maximum support and control.
The GRID concept is still used today in Saucony shoes, with the PWRGRID+ cushioning system.
